I earned my master’s degree in education administration (2011) at Tarleton State University. I began my educational career in Waco. I took a leadership role as the athletic campus coordinator at Lake Air Middle School in 2002 and taught social studies, math, and science. I began working at Waco High School in 2008 and coached football and track while teaching computer and business classes for six years. I worked as an assistant principal at Waco High between 2014-2018, principal at Carver Middle School in 2019, principal at Waco High School 2020-2021, and served as the Dean of Career and Technology at University High School from 2021-2024.
